We are a busy retail studio florist, seeking an energetic experienced career florist and florist admin assistant to join our team immediately. 

These positions are suited to motivated, professional, confident, flexible and physically fit persons who can come on board and hit the ground running - with the ability to work unsupervised, learn our website product catalogue and have a good level of computer literacy - marketing advantageous. 

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Taking phone orders, in-person customer service, processing payment and processing online orders;
• Booking deliveries online and hand-writing message cards; 
• Preparing packaging for product;
• Wrapping bouquets;  
• Creating bouquets and box arrangements for delivery and shop stock;
• Assist with Stock management and maintenance of shop stock;
• Flower & foliage conditioning, stripping, bucket changes and assisting to unload from market runs;
• General retail & admin, marketing, shop/house-keeping, maintaining a clean workspace & other duties as required.

Qualifications & experience: 

• Excellent customer service, well presented and excellent communication skills - fluent English essential.
• Neat handwriting advantageous 
• Professionalism and clear professional phone manner essential
• Fully qualified, at least 2 years' experience in a similar position
• Have a good eye for detail and creative flare
• Be enthusiastic and willing to take on any task
• Experience working in a florist

Must be available through industry peak times, lead-up to and on special event days - Christmas, Valentines & Mother's Day essential. 

Casual 3-5 days..
