영어로 시간 말하기

Do you have time?은 혹시 시간 있으세요 이다. 그렇지만 지금 몇시인지 아세요? 일때는 Do you have the time / What time is it / What time do you have 이라고 해야 된다.

그리고 미국식 시간 말하기는, 10시 30분이면 

It's Ten thirty 라고 하면 되지만,

영국식은 It's half past ten 이다.

10:35분 

It's thirty five past ten.

It's thirty five after ten

(1시간의 35분 지난 10시)

***after는 시간을 말할때 쓰이긴 하나 아주 가끔 쓰입니다.

10:40분 

It's forty past ten

It's forty after ten

(40분지난 10시)

9시 55분일때는

It's five to ten.

It's five before ten

(10시 5분전)

***before는 쓰이긴하나 거의 쓰이지 않는다.

9시 45분

It's quarter to ten.

(10시 15분전)

quarter=1/4(15분), half=1/2(30분), 

three quater=3/4(45분) 이때 three quarter란 말은 거의 쓰이지 않는다.

9시 50분

It's a ten to ten.

(10시되기 10분전)

10:07분 

It's seven past ten

It's seven after ten.

(7분지난 10시)

10:15분

It's quarter past ten.

It's fifteen past ten

It's quarter after ten

It's fifteen after ten

 (10시와 1시간의 ¼)
